    If I could simply type a sentence & say "this is what it means" then I should've written that sentence & not this poem.

    Poems are great in that they mean many things, on many levels - not to mention the vowel music of sounds for the sake of flow, like the song of birds or babbling brooks.

    It is more a feeling, a groping toward meaning than "a meaning". Poetry isn't just a language we translate thoughts into, it's a way to apprehend things just beyond our liminal understanding.
